Hi Thom,
Another thought also: has anything changed with your firewall program in
the last few days?
Sincerely,

Lee Anne,
I'm not able to find any view for logging in eclipse anywhere. Google came
up with a few articles on eclipse logging but none turned out to be
helpful. Maybe I'm missing the PDE plugin? There is also no log files in
the .metadata dir of the workspaces I have setup. Also, where on vista do
I find any related log files?
Please let me know how I can add the log view to my eclipse environment so
I can post the information your requested, thanks.
Also, I'm using the ESET firewall for vista. When I first got the help
problem with eclipse I temporarily disabled it but that made no
difference. When I tried using firefox as an external browser yesterday
for eclipse help it did not work. Just tried it now again and it works
with this http://127.0.0.1:63579/help/index.jsp URL. However, internal
eclipse help viewers do not work, even after starting, stopping eclipse
and toggling the various eclipse preference help options.
Best Regards,
Thom
