Dear Friends
Hi. I am new here so I apologize for any lack of newsgroup related
manner of doing things.

I have installed all of the requirements I could get aware of (GEF,GeMF,
EMF, EMFT, UML2, UML2Tools and many other little things I don't
remember!!!) but I still can't find any "UML Class Diagram" resource in
"File > New" Wizard. I have too many other GeMF related digrams in my
"Examples" category like "Logic" and many OCL related digrams and have
many others in "EMF sample digram creation wizards" (beside a "UML
Model") but no UML diagrams anywhere :-(

I really think you guys are preforming some kind of arcana magic to use
MULTools :-) . I'm an expert (new to open source and specially Eclipse
though) and understand all parts of documentations but I can't get it work!

Any suggestions is more than welcome. I appreciate your help in advance.

Ashkan,

If you have installed by unzipping the zip files, you need to be sure to
run eclipse.exe -clean at least once to refresh the cached
configuration. If it's still failing, clear the Error Log, and try
again with eclipse.exe -clean -debug and check the Error Log view
closely for messages that might explain why the things you've installed
are not activating properly.

Thanks a lot Ed for your help.

I tried the log file and come into a new area. Part of a problem was
that it required v3.2.1 of some feature which I installed and all my
"missing bundle" errors are gone now but I'm facing a new problem. It
appears that existence of the old plug ins (those belonging to v2.3.0 of
the so called features)causes them be become "unresolved". I see a lot
of errors like this:

Bundle
update@.. /extension/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.ant_2.3.0.v200706 262000.jar
[215] was not resolved.
Another singleton version selected: org.eclipse.emf.ant_2.3.0.v200707111516

Although I'm not sure whether this actually implies a problem (because
it says that the *older* plug in is not resolved and nothing wrong is
found in the log about the new ones) but I prefer to solve it. And
however, I still don't see any UML diagrams anywhere.

I think this is not a right place to ask about this error but
org.eclipse.rcp looks impossible to even try :-) [too many posts and I
don't want to (perhaps) ask a redundant question]. Searching the www
yields no results yet.
