Eclipse IDE Help Documentation [message #470853] Fri, 09 November 2007 13:04 Go to next message

Hi. I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this. If not, please
advise. I have two questions.

1. If I have specific suggestions about changes / improvements I'd like
to see in the Eclipse Help documentation (e.g., relating to JDT or the
general IDE), I assume I create a Bugzilla enhancement request. Is this
correct?

2. If I would like to help improve the Eclipse help documentation (e.g.,
by writing / editing help content), how do I get started and who do I
contact?

Thanks for your help.

We would appreciate any bugs that you would file against the
documentation since this is the part of Eclipse that gets least tested
by developers. To do this open a bugzilla defect, if it is for the JDT
select "Eclipse" then "JDT" when entering the component for the bug. If
you want to write or improve an existing document that would also be
appreciated. Starting with a Bugzilla bug would be a good way to do this
also and indicate that you are offering to write the content, someone
should reply to the bug and they can let you know what the procedure is.
