Hello,
I have been trying to explore DD for sometime now. I am planning to
propose DSDP-DD for use in my company. Could some one tell me the current
companies and projects that are using DSDP-DD and the advantages over the
already established debugging softwares and also the shortcomings if any.
Looking forward for a reply.

We (IAR Systems) are working on integrating our debugger with
DSDP/DD/DSF. It requires quite a bit of work, but it is far better than
implementing your own IDE from scratch, especially considering that you
can get tons of "free" stuff from CDT along with it (source browsing,
project management, etc.)
