Could someone explain to me the differences between the various builds
on the PDT downloads page? Of course, some of them I know, but if
someone with an understanding of the differences could just provide an
explanation, or a link with more info, I think it would be very helpful.
For example, on the PDT Downloads page
(http://www.eclipse.org/pdt/downloads/), the following terms exist:
* All In Ones / Eclipse PHP Package
* All In Ones
* Latest Releases
* 2.2.0 Nightly Builds
* 2.1.1 Stable Builds
* 2.1.1 Integration Builds
Also, within the above, there are things like the following:
* All-in-One Update Site
* SDK
* Runtime
As I said already, I know what some of these mean, but since I'm asking
for a few, might as clarify them all for others that may not know.
By the way, I think part of the problem could be the layout of the PDT
downloads page itself. For example, until PDT 2.1 was released, I was
using only the plugin. After 2.1 was released, I had to switch to the
All-in-One bundle because the packaged version of Eclipse in Fedora can
no longer run it. Sometimes it's not clear which file(s) I needed to
download in all cases, this the reason for me asking for this.
Thanks a bunch for putting-up with my ignorance!
