Difference between RCP and normal PlugIn ? [message #464423] Sat, 03 March 2007 09:02
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi togehter,

in the last time I read much about RCP. Can somebody tell me the
difference between an RPC-Application and a normal plugin like Quantum
(browsing DBs)?

In my oppinion RCP is no more than a normal Java-application using
Eclipse and its plugins as frameworks. So Java Swing is replced by JFace
or other libs like this.

Thanks for your help
Martin
