I'm a relatively new Java/SWT programmer, so please bear with me. I'm
working a project that requires scanned images being entered into a
system. so i did that through a JTwain dll. it works fine (i think)... I
used a web cam (since its a twain device) and its pictures came out normal
and okay. however when i connect the scanner and scans an image... it
sometimes (more often) comes on the canvas (SWT canvas) quite distorted.
When the scanners DPI setting is set to a lower setting (below 100) it
comes normal.. but that's sometimes. (really having a hard time). the
unique side of this, is that when i scan it as a grayscale image... its
scans normal and everything is okay. so i'd think its some colour issue.
I've even tried ramping up the amount of memory it uses, is there anyone
that could assist me. It'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
