Is it possible to hide a column of an SWT table such that it's in the
table but not visible when rendered? ie: I want to store data in the
column but not have the user see it.

I managed to get it to work under Linux (3.1 eclipse) but when running the
same code on Windows XP it is showing the column regardless of the column
width setting.

Thx for any insight.

We are doing it on XP by setting the width to zero and it works fine. We do this immediately before redrawing the parent component.

Yes, I tried that...didn't work.

What version of Eclipse are you using? I am running Eclipse 3.1M6.
