Hello, I deployed an RCP app to nine identical machines in an office
all running winXP and 8 work perfectly but one has the splash screen on
top of the logon prompt which is quite annoying. I know this is
probably not an RCP issue but has this happened to anyone?

It is better to close the splash screen before opening your login
window; use Platform.endSplash() to close the splash screen.
