ISelectionProvider bug? [message #460899] Tue, 02 January 2007 05:32 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all,

I'm struggling 3 weeks with my own implementation of ISelectionProvider.
What I found out is it works for SWT widgets but doesn't work for Swing
widgets even if the code which fires the event is 100% the same. I'm
attaching example plugin which shows the strange behaviour. I posted my
comment here:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=150753
but it was simply ignored and marked as duplicate of another bug.
Unfortunately the bug still exists in Eclipse version 3.3 m 4. I'm using
windows 2000, eclipse 3.2.1 and eclipse 3.3 m 4.

Could you tell my if this behaviour is a bug? I want to submit it again to
the bugs.eclipse.org.

Regards,

Marcin

Feel free to submit a new bug and attach your example project to the bug.
By doing that, you are releasing the example project under the EPL which
allows us committers to load it into our workspace.
