BIRT Help - xml file as data source [message #459624]

I'm using BIRT for generating reports in my RCP application. I have
downloaded all in one version of Birt download
birt-report-designer-all-in-one-2_1_1 and i have designed 2 reports, one
using mysql tables as data source and the other is using an xml file for
data source.
The first one runs perfectly but the second one gives me an error. Can i
use a xml file as a datasource? If not whats the alternative solution for
the same.
