Hi all,
I am a java developer and I am attempting to build an swt browser in order
to run on my pocket PC (Windows CE OS) but, when I deploy the swt browser
example, the following message is displayed: "swt browser widgets are non
supported on this platform ....".
Why? In order to create the swt.jar file, I've connected on eclipse.org CVS
repository and I followed all istructions on SWT FAQ page.
If somebody has an swt browser example that runs on pocket pc correctly,
please send me the code.

Thanks

Giovanni

Giovanni,

While I have not done any work with developing for pocketPC, it occurs to me
that regular SWT may not work on a pocketPC. I know that SWT for win32
platforms requires GDI+ (or cairo), and it is possible that pocketPC does
not use GDI+.

You may try http://www.eclipse.org/ercp/ the embedded rich client
platform, which includes eSWT, a version of SWT for embedded devices.
