Hi,

this is my second post because, no one answered my first one. Is there any
possibility to create an ActiveX control with SWT?

Help would very appreciated!

regards,

Andreas

I would think people assume you mean using an activeX control with SWT
(from the subject). That's a FAQ. As for writing an activeX control with
SWT, I don't know.

It is like Thomas said I my title is a little bit confusing. I'm Sorry for
that.
I know how to embed an ActiveX control in a SWT App. But the thing I dont
know how to write an ActiveX control which utilizes SWT.

Is this possible at all? Or do I have to take SWING or some other Toolkit
instead of SWT.

regards

Hello Radu Racariu,

thank you for your answer, but I know this article already. I used the
ActiveX-JavaBeans-Bridge, but using the "packager" from the
JavaBeans-Bridge to convert my Bean into an ActiveX control failed because
of SWT. The packager brought some error message about NoClassDefFound even
if I set the CLASSPATH to SWT.

Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Andreas
