Add SWT library command in Eclipse 3.1M7 [message #455467] Mon, 16 May 2005 14:04 Go to next message

I've just extracted the 3.1M7 bundle and I've noticed that the setting:

Project->Properties->Java build path->Add Library

doesn't offer the SWT/JFace option anymore. Was it moved somewere else? If
not, do someone know the reason why it was removed? I must manually define a
user library with the needed jars? And even if I do this, the declaration
and javadoc views don't work for SWT/JFace methods. It seems the SWT source
code isn't distributed with M7. Do I have to download it from somewhere
else?

Thank you,
Andrea.

You must of had the Visual Editor installed because it is the VE that
contributes the SWT library.

Not VE 1.1M1. We are putting together an integration build that should
be available at week end that works with M7.

Yeah, but it is hard to build from CVS. It mostly works, there are still
bugs we are ironing out.
