Hi,

I'd like to lnow if it's possible to pen a model dialog box (based on a
shell) from inside a win32 application. if yes, how can it be done?

Not sure exactly what the question is. You can create a Shell with the
style SWT.APPLICATION_MODAL. This works on every platform, not just win32.
