Now i'm trying to develop my own plug-in which contains menu bar, tools
bar and my own written perspective. in this plug-in i would like to
include along with some pre-defined external tools configuration in it. So
that when user install my plug-in straight away under the external tools
menu bar will appear all the settings/configurations and user can click
and execute it. For your information, some of my users are using windows
OS and some of them are using Linux OS. So the external tools (let say is
named as ToolA) is installed in difference path for both difference OS. So
i want a flexibility to be able to determine which OS is the user using
and set the ToolA path accordingly. But i can't find this flexibility
through the external tools configuration (maybe i'm wrong and pls guide me
on this). So i was thinking is there a way i can do it in my plug-in
coding through some APIs. do you have any idea how to do it?
