sorry for the previous posting.

actually i have lots of activities which another group of activities are
started with Rpt.* as following:
pattern=" syrcp_eply/my.com.shinyang.eply.ui.actions.RptLogTransportAc tion "
activityId="org.eclipse.DicLogTransportActivity">
</activityPatternBinding>

pattern=" syrcp_eply/my.com.shinyang.eply.ui.actions.DicLogTransportAc tion "
activityId="org.eclipse.DicLogTransportActivity">
</activityPatternBinding>
and

pattern=" syrcp_eply/my.com.shinyang.eply.ui.actions.RptLogTransportAc tion "
activityId="org.eclipse.DicLogTransportActivity">

coz i have plenty of activities which must be group by 'shipping' and
'Log'. i have two perpectives 'camp' and 'HQ' while i have lots of views
to be controlled in each of the perspectives.
if i used mike's previous suggestion (thanks mike :-) ), it will group
both 'shipping' and 'log' into one group. so any further suggestion??
thanks.

another exmaple : in order to minimize the coding and have a more
specified grouping function, wat should i do??

<!-- Shipping -->
<activity
id="org.eclipse.ShipmentCatalogActivity"
description="ShipmentCatalogAction"
name="Sales Catalog">
</activity>
<activity
id="org.eclipse.ShipmentScheduleActivity"
description="ShipmentScheduleAction"
name="Shipment Schedule">
</activity>
<activity
id="org.eclipse.ShipmentExtShipperActivity"
description="ShipmentExtShipperAction"
name="External Booking List">
</activity>
<activity
id="org.eclipse.ShipmentMIActivity"
description="ShipmentMIAction"
name="Marking Instruction">
</activity>
<activity
id="org.eclipse.ShipmentPackingListActivity"
description="ShipmentPackingListAction"
name="Packing List">
</activity>
<activity
id="org.eclipse.ShipmentInvoiceActivity"
description="ShipmentInvoiceAction"
name="Invoice">
</activity>

<!-- Shipping -->
<activityPatternBinding

pattern=" syrcp_eply/my.com.shinyang.eply.ui.actions.ShipmentCatalogAc tion "
activityId="org.eclipse.ShipmentCatalogActivity">
</activityPatternBinding>
<activityPatternBinding

pattern=" syrcp_eply/my.com.shinyang.eply.ui.actions.ShipmentScheduleA ction "
activityId="org.eclipse.ShipmentScheduleActivity">

<activityPatternBinding

activityId="org.eclipse.ShipmentExtShipperActivity">

activityId="org.eclipse.ShipmentMIActivity">

<!-- Shipping -->

<categoryActivityBinding
categoryId="org.eclipse.categories.usercontrolCategory"

</categoryActivityBinding>

anyway i have to reorganized it as follow:

<!-- Shipping -->
<activity
id="org.eclipse.plyShipmentActivity"
description="ShipmentCatalogAction"
name="Sales Catalog">
</activity>

<!-- Shipping -->
<activityPatternBinding
pattern="syrcp_eply/my\.com\.shinyang\.eply\.ui\.actions.Shipment* "
