How do I add data to a list for specific items.
Said differently, is there an equivalent to the windows SetItemData( )
method.

Create a Table (with no columns - this will make the Table behave like a
List) and use TableItem.setData(String key, Object value)

I'll give that a shot.
It's kinda disappointing that SWT does not include that basic functionality
in their lists.
