I'm wondering whether there any Mac OS X Eclipse users who have found a
GUI SWT Designer that works on Mac OS X. All the ones I've seen so far
seem to only work on Windows and (occasionally) Linux GTK.

Any hints or pointers would be most appreciated... TIA

Jigloo is a very good client. http://cloudgarden.com/jigloo/
and best of all it's free.

It's free only for non commercial use, but it's quite inexpensive
anyway...

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Jigloo seems to work "ok" so far under OS X ( 10.3.9 ).

I haven't tried WindowsBuilderPro here yet, but probably will soon.

VE ( 1.0.11 ) does NOT work ( using 3.0.2, and the "latest" updates of
GEF, EMF, etc. ). The SWING Palette "sometimes" shows, but I as yet,
have NOT been able to get even so much as a JFrame to come up visibly in
the workarea.

I'm half tempted to just download the carbon code for SWT and start
looking at it myself, because it REALLY is getting to be irritating. I
agree with Steve Northover's assessment that Apple's involvement is just
GOING to have to be a MUST, for the SWT effort to go further.

Getting SWT_AWT to work on OS X is probably going to be a Lynchpin sort
of thing too.

If someone's interested in a grassroots effort to get SWT/VE up to snuff
for OS X, drop me a line at: marcelol240@yahoo.com, and let's talk.
