Hi,
one of the thread states that eclipse does not support cvsnt but only cvs on
linux / unix for <serious> users. Is it still true ? Do we have to setup a
linux / unix machine to gain cvs running properly with eclipse ?

Thanks in advance for your answer(s)

I've been using cvsnt on W2K Server at my company for some time now and it
works very well. Haven't had a glitch. Eclipse also shows you how to
connect to it in its wonderful help file, complete with screen shots, so
you'll want to check that out too.

Hi, Jens and all,

I am pretty new at the CVS stuff. : )

I've installed CVS NT (2.0.8), Eclipse 2.1 and WinCVS 1.3.13.2 Beta 13
(Build 2) on a XP Pro system.
WinCVS works fine.

I was able to use WinCVS to access the repostories created using CVSNT.
However, I can't make Eclipse to access those repostories when add a new
Repostory Location.
I've tried different parameters including different host name, repostory
path and connection type.

I've looked at different CVS and Eclipse documentations but was unable to
figure out the right combinations...

Could you please point me to the right direction?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
