Hi,

I painted some objects on my Canvas, and I would like to show some ghost
images as those objects are being moved by the user. Is there any way I
can provide an image and SWT will attach the image to the cursor and make
it ghost-like? So far, I am not able to find any classes/API's that let me
do that. The closest solution I can find is to make my image as the custom
cursor using the following constructor:

Cursor(Device device, ImageData source, ImageData mask, int hotspotX, int
hotspotY)

However, it is hard to adjust the transparency of the cursor using the
mask data. All the examples I have seen so far use mask data of depth 1
and assume that the geometry of the image is known. Can anyone point me to
the right direction?

Any help is appreciated.

Connie
