Hi, I hope I'm in the right place for my question ; if not, I'm sorry.

After some research I couldn't find if antialiased fonts are supported
with SWT. Could someone tell me if they are, and if yes how should I
activate them ?

Thank you. Regards,
Guillaume.

SWT/GTK does.
SWT/Motif does not.
SWT/Fox - sort of.

SWT/Win32 does, as long as you enable ClearType in XP / font antialiasing in
pre-XP.

Hello Ivan,

Thanks for your fast answer. If I understand well, antialiasing with SWT
is not really managed by itself but rather relies on the underlying
system. I could produce antialiased fonts with AWT/Swing without
activating antialiasing on windows or linux, but I think it uses Java2D.
I'll probably I'll stick to that, though SWT looks and feels nicer :o)

Guillaume.
