Hi,
I used Text widget with SWT.MULTI and SWT.WRAP options, but I found that
Text widget didn't support foreign language line breaking rules. So I
changed to StyledText. But in StyledText widget, right clicking the mouse
doesn't bring up the context menu (with 'undo', 'copy', 'cut', 'paste',
etc. menu items) as in Text widget. Is this working as expected, or I
should do something to make the context menu show up for StyledText widget?
Thanks!

Hi,
I think because StyledText is no native widget, but a custom one, you have
to add that context menu via setMenu() by yourself.

The Text widget is the native control, equivalent to Notepad.exe. It should
support "foreign language line breaking rules" by default. Does this work
in Notepad?

Steve,
Thanks for your reply! No, it doesn't support 'foreign language line
breaking rules' on Japanese Windows XP. I tried Notepad.exe, it doesn't
support it either. But MS Word does support it. Is this a Windows XP
problem?

Since the SWT Text control is implemented using the same text control in
Notepad, it's a Windows bug/feature that we can't do much about.

Then I think we need to submit a defect against Windows. I submitted a bug
against SWT (Bug73685) to track this problem.
Thanks.
