an experimental implementation of the SWT Printing api for linux/gtk is
available (cpl) at the following url :
http://www.openborges.org/dev/swt-gtk-printing

notice that's not a plug-in but a patched swt implementation.

it's in a very alpha stage, and the above pointer is only provided to
encourage testing/feedback from interested readers.
