This question was posted on the platform newsgroup, obviously ignored. It
would be great if somebody would have a suggestion?

When using an ImageLoader to save a .jpg (SWT.IMAGE_JPEG) there appears to
be a hard-wired jpeg quality setting that is not configurable. Is there
any way to change the quality that the ImageLoader outputs?

Ok, I've searched the eclipse website entirely for this problem and it just
looks like the ImageLoader classes are still being developed. I reverted
back to using AWT BufferedImage and the com.sun.image.jpeg libraries to
achieve what I was looking for. I'll patiently wait and see if this gets
updated down the development tree. ;)

My hats off for those developers who take the time to browse this stuff and
answer what they can. Keep up the great work.

Hello Vic, we do all work out of Bugzilla. Please enter a feature request
with the information and you can watch the progress of the feature. Thanks.
