Hi,
Just to let you know, the latest development build does
*NOT* work with the new Eclipse 3.1M3. AJDT 1.2.0M1 does not either. The
stable release, AJDT 1.1.12, is less closely tied to Eclipse, and appears
to work okay.
I'll post here when a development build supporting 3.1M3 is available. At
that point it will no longer work with Eclipse 3.1M2.
Regards,
Matt.

Okay, it took longer than hoped, due to the large amount of change in
Eclipse 3.1M3, plus discovery of an Eclipse bug along the way, but a
development build for 3.1M3 is now available. See the AJDT download
page for more detail, or go straight to the update site:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/ajdt/31/dev/update
The build id is 1.2.0.20041115201304.
This appears to work okay on Windows and Linux, but it hasn't undergone
extensive testing, so please raise bugs for any problems you find.
I've also refreshed the development build for the Eclipse 3.0 version. I'm
going to say this every time: make sure you get the right one for your
Eclipse version!
Regards,
Matt.

Hi,
I tried for y view times now, but I can't get it working. My build id is
different to the one
you mentioned Matt. And when I try to create a new aspectj file, I get an
error. I have
to restart eclipse completly, using the taskmanager. After reopening eclipse
the file
I created before eclipse crashed, is created. Do you know any reason causing
this
problem?
Configuration:
Eclipse 3.1M3
AJDT-Version choosen by the downloadmanager:
1.2.0.20041125170637

Hi Johannes,
The development build has been refreshed a number of time since my earlier
post, so you are picking up a more recent build, but it should of course
still work okay with Eclipse 3.1M3. I've been using 3.1M3 without
problems, although I have been running AJDT in a development environment.
Could you provide more details of the error you get? Try Show view > PDE
Runtime > Error Log, and see what you have there. Also which operating
system are you using?
Regards,
Matt.
