Celera Diagnostics company (Alameda, CA,
http://www.celeradiagnostics.com/) is looking for an Eclipse RCP developer
(Senior Software Engineer).

Major responsibilities: This individual will work in a team of software
development engineers to develop molecular diagnostic software used in in
vitro diagnostic systems. S/he will be responsible for planning software
development activities, designing and implementing software, designing and
performing unit tests, and creating engineering documentation. These
responsibilities must be performed in accordance with quality system
regulations.

Skills / knowledge requirements: The position requires the knowledge and
skills normally acquired through the successful completion of a Bachelor's
Degree in life or physical sciences, engineering, or mathematics. It
requires 8 or more years of experience in software development using
object oriented programming languages and design patterns. It requires 5
or more years of experience using JAVA and technologies that have been
constructed around this language to enhance application development. Must
have solid GUI designing and development hands-on experience. Must have
Eclipse RCP development experience, and SWT/JFace and Draw2D/GEF skills.
Preference is given to candidates with experience in Spring Framework,
Hibernate, agile software development methodologies (TDD, XP or Scrum).
