Has the refresh behaviour on the TreeViewer changed in R3.0? [message #437842]

Prior to R3 a request to refresh the tree would reposition it to show the
current selection.

In R3 it preserves the current position even if the selection is out of
sight.

I need to confirm that this is fixed/changed in R3 because we have a
customer complaint that when stepping in the debugger the variables view
scrolls back to where the current selection is away from where the user
positioned it using the scroll bars.
