according to the apidoc ContributionItemFactory.PERSPECTIVES_SHORTLIST
should create a list of all available perspectives. sounds good.
but adding it to IStatusLineManager, ICoolBarManager, IToolBarManager does
not do anything. no button, no entry, nothing.
only adding to an MenuManager yields a result: a menu-entry "Other ...".
it's not really what i 've expected ...

how do i get the promised list of perspectives?
