I can't activate toolbar buttons using "Enter" key. I can tab to it and
move to different buttons using arrow keys. But when I press "Enter" key
on the button, nothing happens. Is there any other keyboard shortcut on
linux equivalent to "Enter" on windows ? Works fine on windows.

Any ideas ?

Check and make sure it's supported by the underlying windowing system.
While your at it, can you tell us which linux ws you're using? GTK or
Motif?

I am using 3.0M9/3.0RC1 GTK on GNOME.

I tried to check GNOME windows manager. I cant really "tab" to toolbuttons
using keyboard. So can't say whether "enter" works there.
