i added update-functionality to my application which seems to work well,
but alws the eclipse.org-site is contacted, too.
how do i exclude eclipse.org from list of sites -- or even better how do i
restrict my app only to contact my very own update-site?

does not really speed up.
do you know a way to check if the update-policy-file is read and if only
the urls given are queried?
if i add a local site manually and let the app query it's accomplished in
no time, if i use the same url in the update-policy it still takes several
minutes.
