TreeViewer null after restarting workbench [message #437010]

I have a ViewPart with a TreeViewer. Everything runs but after restarting
the workbench the ViewPart is still open but the createPartControl()
method is not called and the TreeViewer is null! How can I force the call
of createPartControl() or what else can I do to init the TreeViewer?
