Hi there,

I'm currently building a rcp-application and need a way to store
configurations and log errors. I thought about handling each
of them in seperate plugins. But I'm not sure about the
"architectual"-way of implementing these.

I can start them up using the org.eclipse.ui.startup but
how can I use this plugins architecual correctly?
Is it correct when I pubish extension points to consume these
services? I think for configuration it might be that way but what
about logging (log4j with the static logger)?

thanks for your ideas and help in advance
