Hi

I can't find org.eclipse.jface.text package in my Eclipse 3.0M8,
and thus I have no access to TextViewer class. Is there some
kind of a replacement for it, or I just need to wait for a stable
release of Eclipse 3.0?

Thanks in advance

Hi Marcin

What do you mean by "I can't find org.eclipse.jface.text package"?

Do you have
<ECLIPSE_HOME>\plugins\org.eclipse.jface.text_3.0.0\jfacetext.jar in
your classpath?

Christian

Yes, that's the problem :)
I'm new to java and still can't get used to libraries acting as header files
;)

Thanks

Hi,
i've implemented a serial console plugin using a TextViewer.
My problem is that i don't know how to set the input cursor position in the in the TextViewer (or it's Document??) manually, when receiving a message.
Any hints anyone?

Thanks,

Torsten
