HI Frans,

You should be able to get a trial version of Websphere Studio Device
Developer from:
http://www.embedded.oti.com/wdd

Check the SWT FAQ "What do I need to do to run SWT on the Pocket PC":
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/plat form-swt-home/faq.html#pocketpcstart

If you have questions specific to Websphere Studio Device Developer or
related to the Palm platform, go to the following newsgroup:
news://news.software.ibm.com/ibm.software.websphere.studio.d evice-developer

Hi Frans,

You need to install the pocketpc j9 VM.
On my websphere install, it resides in
<wsdd>/ive/runtimes/pocketpc/arm/ive/bin.
You don't need the subfolders /exe /include or lib. In addition, you also
need to grab the jclFoundation profile if you want to develop SWT J2SE
apps or the jclCldc profile if you develop lightweight SWT J2ME apps. On
my WSDD install, this jclFoundation was in <wsdd>/ive/lib/jclFoundation.

At the end, on my PDA I have:
/j9/bin/ (content from <wsdd>/ive/runtimes/pocketpc/arm/ive/bin) +
swt-win32-xxxx.dll SWT native library for PocketPC
/j9/lib/jclFoundation (content from <wsdd>/ive/lib/jclFoundation)
/j swt.jar and user application jars

The j9 and WSDD people will give you better answers about setting up j9 on
PocketPC on this newsgroup:
