Can't create a Dynamic Web Project [message #43524] Sun, 12 September 2004 20:20 Go to next message

Hi!

I went through the Server Tools Evaluation Guide but didn't get the option
"Dynamic Web Project" when trying to create a project (need it for
debugging JSP pages). I did install all the necessary feature and plugin
packs and everything else seems to work quite fine (eg. the server view).
Neither I did find anything in "Customize Perspective".

1. How do I get this option appearing?

2. Is it possible to debug JSP pages with a "regular" J2EE project
(created with Lomboz wizard)? Right now I work with the Lomboz J2EE Wizard
to create J2EE projects and when I tried to add the project to the server
(server view) then it does not recognize any of my projects.

btw: I didn't find the Web Tools FAQ

Any help appreciated!

I have the same problem. However, I got a "404" on the "JEM SDK Jave Edit
Model SDK" link and so was not able to download it.

I got this stuff working before on another machine -- don't remember if I
had the problem with the JEM SDK at that time.

Thanks,
Cian
