Hi,
I create an empty EMF Project and then create an XML schema. I go to
create the EMF Model (New->Eclipse Modeling Framework->EMF Model),
specify a genmodel, press Next. Model importers listed are:

Annotated Java
Ecore model
Rose class model

Why not XML Schema?

I am using a BIRT distro from Eclipse.org which includes:
Eclipse 3.4.2
DTP 1.6.2
BIRT 2.3.2
EMF- Eclipse Modeling FRamework 2.4.2
XSD 2.4.2

Something wrong with my Eclipse environment?

Thanks, chris

Chris,

Probably BIRT only includes the XSD model and not the
org.eclipse.xsd.ecore.converter-feature. For example, do you see
org.eclipse.emf.ecore.importer bundle anywhere?
