Hello,
In M7a Net4j db feature is only one db driver for derby. Where is gone
other db driver? How could I get other db drivers?

Adomas,

I'm sorry but that is 50% intentional:

For legal reasons we can not include the drivers themselves. In the past
we included our adapter code on top of those but that causes the whole
SDK to be NOT installable through p2 (no optional features there). So
this is not an option and we removed the features with 3rd party
dependencies from he main SDK feature.

We would like to provide binaries of our adapter plugins and optionally
including the 3rd party driver bundles, which come from SpringSource.
But that requires changes in our build system that I can not do myself.
See, the build system was given to us by Nick Boldt and formerly he was
available when we had problems tere. But now Nick left IBM and has
nearly notime left for support of my build system. I'm waiting already
for a long time that he takes the time to help me with this issue
(months). Originally I planned to remove the adapter plugins from the
SDK and offer them separately at the same time. But I can't help it ;-(

Until somebody steps up and helps us with these build system issues I
fear you'll have to checkout the needed adapter plugins from CVS and
export them as deployable plugins yourself. Apologies!!!

Btw. Mike recently blogged about part of this issue:
http://dev.eclipse.org/blogs/mike/2009/04/30/lgpl-pain
(in case it's really just caring for LGPL it might be insufficient for us)

Cheers
/Eike
