Hi,
Can you please tell me how to export a .ecore file to xmi
and also to import an xml file as .ecore .
I dont want the api part but how is it done through the
emf ui perspective like wht options to click on ui etc.
Because in the import case only 3 options are available
xsd,rose and ecore.
Then how to import a xml file?

Hi, gitanjali,

If you need to export your Ecore file to OMG standard EMOF, then in the
Ecore Editor you just do "Save As..." and change the file extension to
".emof"

Otherwise, the Ecore file is already in XMI format.

Cheers,

Christian
