Hi all,

i have a question to the behavior of the generated EMF Editor. I can't
move the elements inside an containment element as i want them to. Some
elements will allways be put at the beginning of the containment and
others allways at the end. But this is not want i want. Why is it not
possible to order different elements, which are contained by the same
parent lement, as i want them to.

The ordering among the same elements is free, but i cannot mix elements
of different types... that's strange.

Thx for any hint
Timothy

Timothy,

I guess this behaviour of the editor is mainly influenced by the fact
that the underlying model has different features (containment
references) for these elements. And any order of elements can only have
a meaning in the scope of a single feature. Maybe you can change the
model and combine the multiple references into a single reference of a
common ancestor type?

Cheers
/Eike
