Should we have a method in IStore to know if the store support
readRevisionByVersion ? Or maybe we have one that I didn't see.

This will help me fixing Roger problems.

I'd say that hasAuditingSupport() should give an indication: true means
that readRevisionByVersion() must be implemented. Although the JavaDoc
only says that this assumption can be made for readRevisionByTime(). But
I think that only auditing support would enable to read arbitrary
versions. Why are you asking?

Cheers
