Hi

In my generated EMF model code plugin, the %providerName properties
always is www.example.com, which i want to change.
I checked the .genmodel and .ecore but didn't find any reference to this
string. Can I change it, so it gets generated correctly?

thx
Norbert

Norbert,

We expected you'd just change it in the plugin.properties itself. All
the properties strings are intended to be editable...

Ok I just did that and was pleasantly surprised that re-generating did
not overwrite it. So it's not a big issue indeed.

But still, i don't check in the generated code at all, which means I
have to manually change these values as soon as i (or another developer
in my team) checks out the model files and generates from scratch.
I suppose for reasons like that GMF offers a special section in its
..gmfgen properties for things such as provider, version etc.
I'd really like to see that for EMF model, edit and editor code too.

Norbert,

Feel free to open a bugzilla enhancement request for it.
