PFuriani,

EMF supports XMI 2.0/2.1. Keep in mind that unless there exists an
Ecore/EMOF model for what's in the contents of the .xmi file (i.e.,
models corresponding to the namespaces), it's just so much noise and EMF
won't be able to do much of anything with it.
