relative paths to RMAP in CQUERY? [message #387391] Fri, 03 July 2009 14:26 Go to next message

Hi,

What is the base location for a relative path in CQUERY for resourceMap
file uri?

I am confused, because when I specify the uri as a simple file name, I
expect the Buckminster would pick it up from the same folder as .cquery
file itself. However - this does not seem to be the case.

That would be the location used when obtaining the CQUERY.

It should be. How did you open the CQUERY? I can see one case where it would not work and that is if
you type in a URL in the File Dialog on a Windows box. The reason that doesn't work is that Windows
first downloads the file and then passes the location of the temporary file to Buckminster. That
location is of course no good but unfortunately there's no way of telling that windows changed it.

If you however use the "File" -> "Open a Component Query..." or the headless import command, there
should be no such problem.

HTH,
Thomas Hallgren

My question was, how did you open the CQUERY editor? The base URL is determined at that time.

Hi Roland,
I seem to recall that Buckminster had a bug some time back that caused files opened from the workspace to have an
incorrect base. It's been fixed since though. Can you please tell me what version you are using?

Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

The version of the Buckminster feature is 1.1.350.r10382
(downloaded with Yoxos Install Manager)

OK, very odd in that case. That version shouldn't have that problem. You just double-click on a cquery to open it? Can
you please enable DEBUG logging (Window -> Preferences -> Buckminster -> "Console Log level" -> DEBUG). With debug on,
you should see a text saying "CQUERY Context URL set to ..." in the console window. I'm interested in what it says when
you have the problem.

Thomas Hallgren

The path is okay now ... I don't know what changed, but it seems to work
now...

.... trying on a brand new workspace...

.... works ... It might have been a typo on my part...
