As this was discussed during last PMC call, I express here our will to
contribute to the STP project.
Process orchestration is important when several services interactions
are needed and especially long lasting interactions.
As Open Wide will be involved in the integration of BPEL engines as a
JBI service for the JoNES project (a forth coming project within the
ObjectWeb's ESBi), we are greatly interested in contributing tools in
that field.
We are proposing to contribute to a BPEL graphic designer which will be
able to generate BPEL. The generated BPEL will be deployable in a BPEL
engine, provided it exposes the required deployment contract. We can
contribute to the design and development of this service's contract as
this will be part of the work done for JoNES. We can also help get an
exemplary BPEL engine working so that the generated BPEL can deployed,
tested and debugged.
Such contributions are interesting as we mutualize efforts with other
integration related projects and particularly in the same area (process
orchestration) with the same need for standard compliance (JBI).
