I've got an issue concerning a report with several pages. This might sound
ridiculous to you as I am a newbie with BIRT. So it would help if you
explained in small steps.
The data I want to display comes from a SQL-dataset and I put it into a
table with several groups.
I encounter two problems:
1. In the PDF-output, the height of the rows differs, so that some rows
aren't displayed correctly.
For clarification: I've got a group header with a border around it.
Sometimes this border is displayed correctly, but at other times, the
bottom border is missing. It seems to me that the height of the following
row increases, so that the bottom border can't be displayed.
2. In the PDF-output, there are page breaks I don't want to have.
There are several page breaks although there would be enough space for the
following rows on the current page. I set the page break preferences to
"auto" and also tried "avoid", but no improvement. The page breaks don't
even make sense facing that they occure _inside_ a group and the same
group is continued on the following page. There aren't any entries
missing, tough.
I just won't get the hang of these problems, because all the rows should
have the same preferences, but are displayed differently.
Thanks for your help in advance,
Vanne
