Hi,

I need to create a live chart (bar or line) that will continously update
itself every few seconds. I have no problems doing this except for the
fact that the chart is getting cluttered after a few minutes because the
X-Axis dataset is not fixed , it represents time and therefore grows
continously. I need to make the chart scrollable to fix this problem. I
have seen a post in this group in 2007 that says BIRT charts cannot be
made scrollable, have there been any updates since then?. Is there any
workaround that i can implement?. I have been struggling with this for a
very long time and would be very very grateful for a reply/suggestions.
I can post the code if needed.

Thanks!

Anithra.

Anithra,

Are the number of points constant?
In this example:

There is a chart example that rotates a chart and updates points, but
the point count does not change. If it does you should be able to
resize the chart though.
