Hi,
I am using Log4j in my event handlers. Where should I put
the log4j properties file ?
Similarly I am have to access another configuration file for
event-handlers.
Document says that these properties file should be placed in the
CLASSPATH.
I am using Birt-Viewer 2.3.2 with TOMCAT 5.5 .
I have tried WebApp/birt-viewer/scriptlib ,
WebApp/birt-viewer/WEB_INF/lib/classes and WebApp/birt-viewer/WEB_INF/lib/
but nothing seems to work.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Shivam,

That should work. When you put it in the lib directory was it in a
jar? Also try putting it the tomcat common lib dir.

I am using java.util.properties in my java classes for scripted data
source.
So i need to read them and the log4j properties file.
I am keeping them in birt-viewer/scriptlib , birt-viewer/lib ,
birt-viewer/lib/classes. I am keeping them as independent files. They are
not in a jar.

Hi,
I was making the classes folder in WEB-INF/lib.

I made it in WEB/INF and it worked. Just a small thing and took my whole
day :( .
