Hi all,
I've been trying to complete 11746. I’m submitting document to the public
XDS registry - 129.6.24.109
I’m calling SubmitDocument method of the bridge, passing
sessionContext, encodedDoc and docMetadata and getting response.success
true. But RegistryResponse has status Failure. It complained that required
slots hash, size and URI are missing.

http://129.6.24.109:9080/LogReader/message.html?message=1195 504398513208.251.209.86&target=new

Error: XDSRegistryMetadataError Document urn:uuid:6038de60-8036-3f7a-0520-
does not have the required slot hash Error: XDSRegistryMetadataError
Document urn:uuid:6038de60-8036-3f7a-0520- does not have the required slot
size Error: XDSRegistryMetadataError Document
urn:uuid:6038de60-8036-3f7a-0520- does not have the required slot URI

I assume that hash and size are calculated by the Bridge before
submission. Is this true?
Has anyone completed 11746 using Bridge?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dmitry

Hi Dmitry,

Are you submitting to a registry or a repository? Documents should be
submitted to the NIST repository (Provide and Register Document
transaction) and the repository will add these fields (hash, size, and
URI) and forward the metadata to the registry (Register Document
transaction). OHF does not add this metadata on any requests.

Hi Matt,
Thanks, your reply helped me to understand the problem. The problem was
incorrect url. After reading your reply I found this post
http://www.eclipse.org/newsportal/article.php?id=639&gro up=eclipse.technology.ohf#639
and this is exactly what was happened in my case: bridge using registry
url instead of repository url
Thanks,
Dmitry
