Hi gang,
In the spirit of good open source participation I thought I should log
our collective status vis-a-vis the plan.
Summary:
---------
We are midway through M2 with some code working (can open a process) but
some important design work remains uncompleted (actually, not even
started). This is a concern as downstream coding work was dependent on
this.
On the bright side, with some more effort we should be able to get to
the M2 goal of being able to create a simple BPEL process and do some
editing of it.
We've had some startup hickups but I am optimistic that as more
resources are applied we can get ourselves back on track.
We should have a status call come M2 completion and determine what
action should be taken. As we are not on plan, and realistically can't
get back on plan by then, we need to consider whether a catchup can
occur to put us back on track for M3 or if schedule adjustments are
required.

Since we have cleared M2 (based on posted schedule) I wanted to focus on
what we missed based on your note.

Is there a planned call to review :
- progress
- future milestone impact
- identifying committed dates when the above missed items will be
available - imho we should not do M3 until we have all the missing parts of
M1 and M2.
- participation by current members
- potential participation by new people who have expressed an interest
Seems like this is a good time to do it?
